Conceptual Design of Children-friendly Station Area Environment on Chengdu Tram Line 2

To study the conceptual design of children-friendly tram station area environment, through investigation of existing tram station area condition, children′s behaviors of different ages are analyzed in detail. The environmental characteristics of tram station area suitable for children physical and mental development such as safety and educational value are summarized. Taking Chengdu Tram Line 2 as an example, the environment design expression of children-friendly tram station area is summarized. Research results show that building a stereoscopic and open, attractive, children-friendly tram station area can create good environment for children growth and green city atmosphere.
