Study on Construction Methods Optimization for Subway Sound Barrier Project

  • Objective The construction of subway sound barriers is characterized by complex foundation treatment, low installation efficiency and high risk of high-altitude operations, leading to extended construction period, higher costs and hidden quality risks. Therefore, it is urgent to optimize the construction method to improve the engineering efficiency and safety. Method For the foundation treatment, a “transition girder bearing” technology is proposed to solve the misalignment problem of embedded bolts and realize standardized installation; for curved sections, the cross-section of steel columns is optimized and the “push-flat” installation process is adopted, to ensure the solidity of the screen by combining with the “rotating push-flat” improvement; for straight sections, the facade modular pre-assembly and overall hoist technology is adopted; and the roofing system is fixed by bolts with “inverted penetration method” and modular hoisting, so as to reduce high-altitude operations. Result & Conclusion After optimization, the installation efficiency of steel columns increases by 100%(40 pieces/cycle), the installation efficiency of steel beams increases by 40%(10 pieces/cycle), the amount of aerial work on the screen body decreases by 75%, and the quality stability is significantly enhanced. The optimization method effectively solves the deficiencies of the existing construction technologies and realizes standardized, modularized and efficient construction.
