Research on Automatic Monitoring Accuracy for Track Static Geometric Dimension Deviation and the Application
-
Abstract
Objective Currently, the measurement of track static geometric dimension deviations primarily employs methods such as track gauges, chord lines, and hand-push rail inspection trolleys. Although these methods can relatively evaluate track quality accurately, they are incapable of rapid and real-time monitoring during railway interchange construction. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a research on the accuracy of automatic monitoring for track static geometric dimension deviations. Method As a result, an automatic monitoring system for railway interchange project is developed. The system is a combination of multiple technologies such as Internet, database, and automatic monitoring, and can realize real-time monitoring around the clock. To verify its monitoring accuracy, while conducting automated monitoring, manual monitoring methods such as level measurement, gauge measurement, and chord method are simultaneously used for validation. Data of manual and automatic monitoring are compared and analyzed. Result & Conclusion Automatic monitoring shows a high accuracy in monitoring railway track geometric status, satisfying the measurement accuracy requirements for site construction conditions.
