Research on New High-Speed Busbar Parameter Design for Rigid Catenary
-
Abstract
Objective To meet PC(pantograph-catenary) contact performance requirements of the rigid catenary system in tunnels with the speed exceeding 200 km/h, the structural parameter optimization design and performance test of the rigid catenary busbar are studied. Method Considering the material properties and structural characteristics of the busbar, a new type of large inertia moment busbar structure is proposed, and a rigid catenary simulation model is established. Under 200 km/h high-speed condition, the static performance test of existing and new busbars, PC dynamic performance simulation and actual vehicle test are carried out. Result & Conclusion Test results indicate that the new busbar demonstrates superior high-speed performance compared to the current one. Using a new type of busbar with different spans, dynamic simulations of the PC system are carried out at speeds of 200 km/h and 250 km/h, with on-site tests conducted at speeds of 160 km/h and 200 km/h. The results show that the new busbar can accommodate larger spans, with a maximum span reaching 9 meters.
