Demand Analysis and System Development for Urban Rail Transit Station Operation Business Management

  • Objective In response to issues such as the multi-objective and complexity of urban rail transit station operation business, and the insufficient integration of existing information systems, and to further leverage the positive role of digital empowerment in enhancing station operation management efficiency, it is necessary to develop a station operation management system that closely aligns with needs, thereby enabling the itemization, automation, and visualization of various station data, tasks, and reports.
Method Based on the analysis of the station operation business management characteristics, an overall architecture of the station operation management system is proposed, and the general requirements for the system are further analyzed. Six layers of the station operation management system are introduced, with particular emphasis placed on the software framework of the application function layer. Xicen Station on Shanghai Metro Line 17 is selected as the pilot station for system development and practical application, to analyze the digital advantages initially demonstrated in the station operation management system.
Result & Conclusion  Station operation business management is characterized by the “three-multiple” features: multi-dimensional interweaving of management content, multi-disciplinary intersection of professional coverage, and multi-threaded parallel coordination among positions. The station operation management system has achieved positive pilot results at Xicen Station: routine daily operations and specialized support business tasks are fully transformed into online management processes, achieving intelligent recognition and automatic triggering of different task lists; The inventory ledger for station equipment and materials has been integrated, enabling dynamic maintenance and visualization features; The corresponding ledger reports have simultaneously achieved paperless management and automated data collection, with manual data entry reduced by approximately 80% compared to those before adopting the station operation management system.
