运行安全、高效运营是城市轨道交通行业关注的焦点，二者各有侧重又互为补充，统一在为乘客提供高质量的出行服务宗旨下；但同时二者在领域划分的边界上也存在着一些矛盾和盲点。在分析城市轨道交通运行安全和运营效率的定义以及事故发生诱因的基础上，给出安全与效率之间的矛盾和统一关系，并提出了解决矛盾的方法和案例。
Abstracts:
Operation safety and revenue efficiency are the keen focuses of urban rail transit industry, the two of which develop in different aspects while complementing each other, unifying under the overall purpose of providing high quality service for passengers. However, several contradictions and blind spots exist on the boundary of their definition. On the basis of analyzing the definition and causes of accidents, the contradictory yet unified relationship between safety and efficiency is delivered, and the methods and exemplary cases for solution are proposed.
